Programming
The programming that our individuals participate in while at Compass Development is developed based on their personal needs, strengths, interests, desires and goals. All programming is developed through the collaborative efforts of the individual, guardian, care managers and Compass Development. Programming is implemented 24 hours a day in a consistent manner.

Rights Protected by the Constitution of the United States
- The right to voice your opinions and to debate issues of interest
- The right to retain personal possessions
- The right to come and go freely to shop or visit friends
- The right to be treated with respect and dignity
- The right to remain as independent as possible
- The right to participate in activities of your choice
- The right to choose the home where you live
We often take for granted these simple rights given to us by our forefathers and the Bill of Rights. These rights are not forgotten by individuals with disabilities because they are the ones most often deprived of them. Compass Development believes that all rights are equally important. It is our responsibility to advocate for these rights as well as educate the community along with educating individuals with disabilities what their rights are. This is why it is important to involve our individuals in daily community access. Where barriers exist, Compass Development provides services, supports and community involvement to make for a positive difference. The more our community and society understand individuals with disabilities, the less likely barriers will exist.
